Thunderbolt 4 is the latest revision of Intel’s Thunderbolt interface. It was formally announced in 2019 and began appearing on laptops in 2020. As of early 2021, it is still a relatively new standard and thus is not yet widely available. However, it is expected to become increasingly common in the coming years.
Thunderbolt 4 offers a number of improvements over its predecessors, including increased data transfer speeds, support for up to four lanes of PCI Express data, and compatibility with a wider range of devices. Thunderbolt 4 Laptops
